2009 recap (january-february)
Since I've missed a lot of very important events this year, I'm going to recap them as the first couple posts on my new and improved blog!
The year started out right after a wonderful Christmas.
Shortly after ringing in the new year, I was about halfway through my pregnancy. I actually thought I was huge at the time. Now, with 3 weeks to go, I miss being that small!
At the end of the month, Bobby turned one, and I turned thirty!

Brenna handed out Valentine's to the kids in her class and our immediate relatives.

And we spent Valentine's Day and Presidents Day Weekend in Sea Isle City, NJ. My mother and her teacher friends participated with thousands of others in the annual Polar Bear Plunge to raise money for their school (the school uniforms were their costumes - an event requirement).
We ended the month of February with Brenna's first haircut! It was exactly a year to the day after she took her first steps!
It was a great start to the year, but the next two months brought even more great news and events to look forward to in our family!
